Founded in 1943, Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston provides a full network of social services to the community aimed at promoting and facilitating self-sufficiency. Catholic Charities offers services from adoption to food assistance to family counseling and much more to bring hope to the Galveston-Houston area.
A faith-based organization, Catholic Charities extends the healing ministry of Jesus Christ to all those in need regardless of their faith. In fact, more than 50 percent of Catholic Charities clients are not Catholic.
